1. Who we are and what this covers
Stdnous47 Labs ("Stdnous47 Labs", "we", "us") operates stdnous47.cloud and the std::nous service. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of our website, people who request access, and members of workspaces that use std::nous.
When an organisation connects its workspace to std::nous, that organisation decides what content is connected. For that workspace content we act on the organisation's instructions, as described in our Terms of service.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Access request details: work email address, team size, and anything you write in the optional note.
- Account details: name, work email, and organisation name.
- Messages you send to support@stdnous47.cloud.
Workspace content
If your organisation connects sources such as GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, or Google Drive, we process the content those integrations make available (for example pull requests, messages, documents, and their metadata) and the questions members ask.
Collected automatically
- Basic server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps.
- Aggregate, privacy-friendly usage statistics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How we use information
- To handle access requests and contact you about them.
- To provide std::nous: indexing connected content and answering questions from workspace members.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To respond to your requests and send essential service notices.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Model training
We do not use workspace content or questions to train machine learning models, and we only use AI providers whose commercial terms prohibit them from training on the data we send.
6. Service providers
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Website and application hosting | United States / global edge |
| Anthropic PBC | AI model inference for answers | United States |
| Cloudflare Inc. | DNS and email routing | United States / global |
We will update this list before adding a provider that processes workspace content.
7. International transfers
Stdnous47 Labs is based in South Korea. Some providers above process data outside South Korea, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on your consent or on contractual safeguards for these transfers, and you may ask us for details of the transfer, including the recipient, destination, and purpose.
8. Retention
- Access request details: until you ask us to delete them, or 12 months after your last contact with us.
- Workspace content: while the source stays connected. Disconnected sources are deleted.
- Account details: for the life of the account, then deleted after closure.
- Server logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop processing your personal information, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@stdnous47.cloud and we will respond within 10 days.
If you are a member of a customer workspace, we may refer workspace content requests to your organisation.
10. Security
We encrypt data in transit, limit access to the people who need it, and scope every answer to the asking member's permissions. See our Security page for details. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users and authorities of a breach as the law requires.
11. Children
std::nous is a business tool and is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post updates here and change the date at the top. For material changes we will notify users by email before they take effect.
